Studying for max 4 hours a day is absolutely enough. You just need to be focused through out these 4 hours for 5 months, no distractions like mobile and social networking sites.
Start studying from CBSE textbook(the physics and chemistry of CBSE is more than enough for JEE mains).

There are 30 chapters in chemistry, going at the rate of 1 chapter will be good,
you need to go through each and every line and answer all the in chapter questions and behind the text questions this would create a strong foundation in basics of chemistry. The numerical behind the chapters are more than sufficient for mains. you need to Mug up most of the inorganic part, this is easy and very scoring and also is sufficient for JEE advanced.Organic chemistry needs to be understood very well, chapters like nomenclature, isomerism and reaction mechanism are most important if you understand them well you will have a upper hand in the other chapters.Try books like organic chemistry by arihant for making basics in isomerism and reaction mechanism stronger.

There are again 30 chapters in physics, here you should go with 1 chapter for 2 days max, it comes around 1 chapter per week. this will help you complete it in around 2 months time.
Cbse physics is really very good after going through them start solving H.C.Verma. This is the best book for clearing basics and practicing numerical for mains and advanced both.
  • Make a rough plan  to cover up all the chapter (All the chapters should be covered)
  • Stick to it. No excuse. Nothing.
  • Take a standard book which is not so hard or not so easy. Average but most importantly in the trend.(NCERT,JEE MAIN previous year papers by arihant)
  • Every day count how many days left for the exam and prepare accordingly
  • Do not waste much time on other things such as things out of syllabus
  • Try to do well in the board. Cause that will help you much.
  • Must  do all previous 10-15 years question paper completely. This will help you the most.
  • Have the confidence that you can crack it.
