How To Study for JEE Mains and Advance

I would never have answered this question if not asked, I don't find myself that worthy.
Well, I will tell you what I did, and what I didn't do which was meant to be done. Follow them only if you feel that to be suitable for you.
Also, JEE Main was AIEEE at my time.

I am answering by strictly sticking to AIEEE/JEE Mains.

Maths
I am starting with my weakest subject.

The measures I took to overcome it were:
  • tried to solve atleast 30-40 problems from a book daily, chapters were decided according to my mood. I started the first 30-40 by some basic formula based questions, then increased the level only when I felt comfortable with the previous level I was in. The book I preferred was Arihant's Objective Mathematics by AM Agrawal, you can choose any other book as well, I found this one good enough according to my need and requirement.
  • My previous chapters were revised by people asking doubts from me, I never left any doubt unanswered, so helping others did help me too.

The measures I did not take but should have taken:
  • I couldn't continue the practice I mentioned above for long, I left it after few months due to hectic schedule. Even I left some chapters completely untouched.
  • I never tried to increase my speed due to which I suffered a loss of 10 questions being unanswered in physics because I took extra time in maths.

Physics
I didn't love physics, but I enjoyed it.

  • I always solved HC Verma, the objective questions are a must, they clear the small concepts which are generally overlooked, and without concepts, physics is hollow.
  • I loved solving bigger problems that required a hell lot of imagination, some questions even covered more than one chapter.
  • I never studied NCERT, that is why I found some questions to be extra terrestrial in AIEEE, don't skip NCERT for JEE mains.

Chemistry

  • I completely followed my coaching notes for chemistry, I required nothing else.
  • You must follow NCERT for chemistry, its like a bible for JEE Mains. Learn each and every line of it if possible.

Well, I am telling you my AIEEE score so that you can judge if you want to follow these measures or not.
I don't remember exact figures but I scored about 105/120 in chemistry, 75/120 in maths and 50/120 in physics.
